Let’s face it, the combination of the name “Binary Domain” and the equally generic box art don’t really scream “Totally worth your $60″. It’s a sad fact. What’s more sad than that, is that some people will pass on this game due to those reasons mentioned, and this is not a game to be judged literally by its cover.

Anomaly: Warzone Earth really piqued my interest with it’s promise to basically be the complete opposite of the average “Tower Defense” game.
Watching this new assassin spin a tomahawk around in his hand was enough to make me smile. And who knows if that is even something to smile about, really.
Asura’s Wrath started out as a game that I was quick to dismiss as a bunch of nonsensical fight sequences strung together by the thinnest of story threads. However, by about the midway point, I realized that I was actually enjoying Asura’s Wrath for that very reason.
What could be passed off to the casual observer as simply a “Poke’mon Clone” is much more, and goes deeper than most ever expected.
Back in the mid to late 80′s i owned just about every major release on the original NES. I would regularly play an assortment of titles when i had the chance, after school. There were however a select group of cartridges that always seemed to make their way back into the system. One of those being Punch Out.

On lazy days where I want nothing more than relaxation and games without stress, Flower is the best possible choice. This game is relaxing in just about every way a video game could be.

Saturday Night Live has long been on the downward slope of comedy mountain. Years have past since it was the thing to watch, and people were quoting it regularly in conversation. Over the past several years my wife and I have watched most of the episodes, hoping it would be funny again one day. For the most part, sadly it hasn’t.
