Bulletstorm is what I would describe as the “Family Guy” of video games. It’s not for everyone, and it makes no apologies to the people that don’t like it.

In Homefront the US has fallen from grace, so to speak. They have been rejected by the rest of the world and the UN has basically turned their back on us. America stands alone against a world that wants to conquer it, and that is just what has happened.

As the box so eagerly points out, according to Nintendo Power, Monster Tale is the “Next Great DS Game”. That is a very bold statement to make for a game that probably is flying under the radar of most DS players out there.

There are so many games on the market now that publishers allow or out right encourage developers to do more and more sequels to. However there are a rare few that the end user would agree needs to go further. Dead Space is one of those series that people have been waiting to see more of, and finally that chance has come.

Vanquish, not surprisingly, is brought to you by the same folks that did Bayonetta last year for the 360 and PS3. It is a title that will be known for many things most assuredly it’s shooting as well as it’s strange “knee-sliding” maneuver.

This game has me torn. On the one hand I commend the creators for making a game that stand out from the rest of the pack. On the other hand, it doesn’t deliver enough of what it promises, and too much on things that it shouldn’t. Confused? Yeah, I still am a bit as well.

Alan Wake has been in pre-production and production since 2001 and was announced officially at E3 2005. Seeing as how it is now summer of 2010, that is a long frickin’ time for a game to be worked on… Did it live up to the hype, and the wait?
