Vanquish, not surprisingly, is brought to you by the same folks that did Bayonetta last year for the 360 and PS3. It is a title that will be known for many things most assuredly it’s shooting as well as it’s strange “knee-sliding” maneuver.

A lot has been made over the past several months about “Motion Controlled Gaming”. Time for me to give my opinion on the whole Kinect deal. This is all about the Kinect and the technology behind it. I will post game reviews later and separately. For now this is just about how well the system works.

This game has me torn. On the one hand I commend the creators for making a game that stand out from the rest of the pack. On the other hand, it doesn’t deliver enough of what it promises, and too much on things that it shouldn’t. Confused? Yeah, I still am a bit as well.

Alan Wake has been in pre-production and production since 2001 and was announced officially at E3 2005. Seeing as how it is now summer of 2010, that is a long frickin’ time for a game to be worked on… Did it live up to the hype, and the wait?

This game can be summed up in one single word: Brutal. As easy as it would be to just “phone it in” and leave the review at that, the full scope of why this game is brutal demands an explanation. One that I am more than happy to provide.

How often do you get to purchase a game AND get to feel good about the money you spent? Not very often, I am guessing. Fortunately, with Chime you can slap down your money and know that you are actually paying for something good. For the 400msp (or$5) that will you spend for this game, you are also helping less fortunate children around the world.

In my humble opinion, the single player again stands out as the biggest reason to play the game, and should be the real reason for anyone to search this title out.
