So here we are again, Troma fans. Surf Nazis Must Die is one of those rare movies that does everything wrong, yet manages to capture the subject matter perfectly. Allow me to explain.

To say the third and final Slumber Party Massacre Movie was disappointing would be redundant at this point. Taking an already ridiculous plot of the series and then trying to tie all three disjointed movies together, that’s was never going to work out. “It’s Driller time… And this bits for you” Are they even trying anymore?

Seeing that there was a complete and utter lack of Japanese gore movies in this marathon, I decided to change that, quickly. Vampire Girl Vs Frankenstein Girl is from the same people that have done, Tokyo Gore Police, Machine Girl and other “Tokyo Shock” movies, and it shows. However this one seems to have more plot than the others.

Leave it to Chuck Norris to literally kick Satan’s ass. This has to be where all those Chuck Norris legends started from. All I was looking for going into this movie was a good roundhouse to the face and maybe some good one liners. I got so much more.

Bikini Girls On Ice is nothing if not truthful to it’s name. Sadly, this may be the only thing that this movie has going for it.

Looking for a little more “substance” in my movie selections, I decided to go with “Hatchet”. As the poster clearly says, “Old School American Horror” plain and simple. Like the Friday the 13th movies reborn for a new generation.

Once again I dive head first into the murky waters of Troma. Blades came out nine whole years after Caddyshack, but the influence that movie had on it, is clearly apparent. However, where Caddyshack had lots of talent, a decent “plot” and wonderful writing, Blades has… gimmie a second…
