There have been several Tomb Raiders per se. From the beginning that game was all about the exploration and, you know, raiding tombs. At some point, around Tomb Raider 3, I fell off the train and didn’t care until one of the most recent games on the PS3 and 360. The franchise has been handled by several different devs and production companies. To say that it has had a rough go of it for a while is probably an understatement. Demoed at E3 this year, the series seems to be taking a leap in a new yet familiar direction.

Laura is a twenty something kid and really doesn’t know what she is doing yet. She doesn’t have the gadgets, she really doesn’t have the skill set yet. That being said, it could be really good. A much darker game that looks to hearken back to the original titles.
